The jeep met with an accident when the road was slippery due to heavy rain, said Ward Chairman of Thanag-4 Hikmat Singh Gharti Magar. The jeep fell off the road towards Uwa. Police said that rescue operations are ongoing. A police team and health workers have gone to the scene from Thabang. Chief District Officer Ganga Bahadur Chhetri said that the police and locals were deployed for rescue operations immediately after receiving information about the accident.
