He termed the government's use of the army in collecting details of squatters as 'misuse'. He warned that using the army beyond the limits set by the constitution would upset the balance between the organs of the state. He also commented on the attempt to run the country through ordinances.
He also expressed dissatisfaction over the repeated adjournments of the parliament without holding a meeting.
