Under the Slum Family Management Scheme, only 22 families have come in contact with the government till 1 pm.

The government is continuing the registration process at the Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwor. Khagendra Bahadur Bista, an employee of the empowered Bagmati Civilization Integrated Development Committee, informed that 9 families from the Slum family settlement in Thapathali and 13 families from the Guhyeshwori field have registered.

The government is preparing to provide management to the Slum residents of Thapathali at the Kirtipur Radhaswami Satsang.

Along with the campaign to remove unauthorized settlements on the banks of the river in the capital, various measures have been put forward for the management of the displaced Slum residents.

According to the Secretariat of Prime Minister Balendra Shah, the campaign has been launched in Thapathali, Gairigaun and Manohara areas with the main objective of returning public lands and separating 'real' and 'fake' Slum residents.

The eviction of those settlements has begun since this morning.

According to a study conducted by Bagmati Civilization and other bodies, the government has confirmed that many people living in those settlements have properties elsewhere.

On this basis, the government has said that it will not give any alternative to 'fake' characters who have properties elsewhere but occupy public land in the name of squatters and is preparing to make their details public. In the upcoming process, the details of each person will be kept in a digital system and a detailed profile will be prepared.

The government has said that it will make arrangements for rehabilitation in five places for real landless squatters. 42 housing units have been prepared in Ichangu in Nagarjuna, while Satsang Bhawan in Kirtipur, the Agricultural Development Bank's training center in Bode in Bhaktapur, government buildings and vacant land in Kharipati and Chandbagh have been put forward as alternatives.
