The Army Public Relations and Information Directorate issued a press note on Friday, stating that it has drawn its serious attention to the fact that unfounded statements and fabricated materials targeting the army and its leadership have been broadcast recently. Stating that such misleading materials create confusion among the general public, the army has warned against and cautioned against such actions.

'As the Nepal Army and related bodies are regularly monitoring such disorderly and anarchic activities, it is also reminded that those who engage in such acts are within the scope of the prevailing law,' the appeal issued by the army said.
