Nepali Congress General Secretary Pradeep Poudel has said that the Supreme Court's decision regarding the party's legitimacy should not be a matter of victory or defeat for anyone.

General Secretary Poudel made this comment after the Supreme Court recognized the working committee elected from the special general convention on Friday. 'We accept the decision of the esteemed Supreme Court regarding the legitimacy of the Nepali Congress. This decision should not be a matter of victory or defeat for anyone,' he said. 'It is imperative that we all be vigilant and alert in the current situation to prevent an environment that disrupts party unity by interpreting it as the victory of one or the defeat of another.'

He has also appealed to the party ranks to unite. He said, 'Now, I sincerely appeal to all Nepali Congress leaders, friends and well-wishers to remain active in creating an environment where everyone can unite under the four-star flag and move forward to the 15th general convention so that everyone feels safe.'
