UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli's stone surgery has been successful. He is currently in the intensive care unit (ICU) after his stone surgery at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital.
UML central member Niru Pal, who is in the hospital, said that Chairman Oli is being treated in the ICU after the surgery.
According to Oli's secretariat, a 22 mm 'stone' has been removed. The then Prime Minister Oli was arrested by the police on Bhadra 14 for being responsible for the human casualties in the Gen-G movement. He had been staying at the teaching hospital after developing health problems. After being released on Chaitra 26, his stone treatment began.
