The dispute over the nomination of advisors in the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) has been resolved. The dispute was resolved after the meeting of the Federation's Central Committee held on Chaitra 23 nominated outgoing President Bipul Pokharel, presidential candidate Ramesh Bista, and former President Govinda Acharya as advisors.

The dispute was resolved after the Federation decided to 'honor' the then Acting President Bala Adhikari, who took over the responsibility of the Acting President after completing the election of the Federation and handed over the office, in the void created by the resignation of the then President Pokharel.

After the advisor dispute was resolved, General Secretary Ram Prasad Dahal has called a meeting of the Central Working Committee on Tuesday. The Federation's meeting will be held in Hetauda, Makawanpur on Chaitra 28 and 29, said Federation Secretary Prakash Dhaulakoti. .

Earlier, the meeting called by Federation President Nirmala Sharma had not finalized the number of advisors.* According to the Federation's statute, there is a provision for only three advisors, but the meeting was postponed after some office bearers demanded that four people be appointed in the meeting held in Tinkune.
