Police have arrested four drug peddlers in Gaushala on Tuesday night. One person was injured in the police firing, while others have been arrested.
The injured include Indian citizen Anil Kumar Paswan. He is undergoing treatment at the Trauma Center of Bir Hospital.
The others arrested include Ram Bahadur Bhujel, Krishna Kumar Shah, and Mohammad Hasan, said SSP Krishna Koirala, Chief of the Narcotics Control Bureau, Koteshwor.
He said that the police had to open fire after they attacked them while taking them into custody based on a special tip-off. He said that detailed information about them is being collected. On Monday, shots were fired to arrest two drug peddlers in Rupandehi.
