The ranking of ministers has been changed. President Ram Chandra Poudel changed the ranking of those who became ministers on Chaitra 13 on Tuesday on the recommendation of Prime Minister Balendra Shah. Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle is at number two after Prime Minister Shah.

Mainly, the ranking of Home Minister Sudhan Gurung, who was previously at number three, has been increased to number five. Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal, who was previously at number four, has been placed at number three. Similarly, Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Biraj Bhakta Shrestha has also been brought to number four. He was previously at number six. Minister for Physical Infrastructure, Transport and Urban Development Sunil Lamsal, who was previously at number five, has reached number six.

Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens Sita Badi, who was previously at the last place in the Council of Ministers' ranking, has also now been brought to number eight. Currently, Minister for Labor, Employment and Social Security Deepak Kumar Sah is at the bottom of the ranking. Similarly, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Sobita Gautam is at number 7, Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration; Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Pratibha Rawal is at number 9 and Minister for Health and Population Nisha Mehta is at number 10.
