Krishna Ramja Budha, 32, of Kimiretol, Triveni Rural Municipality-1, Kavra, went to Malaysia twice 10 years ago. After failing to get a job as promised in the company there, he left and returned home. He went to Malaysia twice with a loan of 9 lakh.
As the pressure to repay the loan increased, he went to Kuwait with an additional loan of 3 lakh just a month ago. He was working for a company called Sino Hydro in Kuwait. Less than a month after going to Kuwait, he was found hanging in his room on the night of Falgun 25. The family received the news of his death the next day. His body was brought to Bhairahawa Airport on Wednesday and was taken to his home for the last rites.
