The Division Forest Office, Arghakhanchi, is going to award 'TikTok' with promotional material on fire control. The office has announced that the best 3 people who increase awareness among citizens through 'TikTok' will be awarded.

The Forest Office has issued a notice to the general public to make a one-minute TikTok to control the risk of fire in settlements and forest areas. The office has appealed to make a one-minute TikTok video based on topics such as fire control and its promotion, legal provisions and citizen awareness related to it.

The video has been asked to be placed on your Facebook, TikTok, YouTube account (channel) and sent to the office's email address by 25 Chaitra at [email protected].

The best 3 videos with the most 'viewers' by 30 Chaitra will be selected and awarded, said the office's Information Officer Keshar Khadka. The office has announced that the first-place TikTok will be awarded Rs 15,000, the second-place TikTok will be awarded Rs 10,000, and the third-place TikTok will be awarded Rs 5,000. According to Khadka, while making TikToks, priority will be given to fire control and management, dialogue and message-based, original audio and video. Last year, the office had collected leaves from the community and carried two Gandharvas to villages in the fire-prone areas within 61 wards of the district to spread the message by playing the sarangi.

‘Nowadays, many people watch TikTok and social media,’ said Khadka, ‘so that awareness-raising campaigns are more widespread and help in fire control, we are going to reward those who make TikTok video messages.’
