Police have reached Gundu to arrest former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. According to high-ranking police sources, he is being arrested to implement the report of the commission led by Gauri Bahadur Karki.

They were recommended to be prosecuted under Sections 181 and 182. Section 181 of the Criminal Code states that ‘no one shall cause the death of another by negligent act’. A person who commits such an offense can be imprisoned for 3 to 10 years and fined from Rs 30,000 to Rs 100,000.

Section 182 states that ‘no one shall cause the death of another by negligent act’. It says that imprisonment for up to 3 years and fine up to Rs 30,000 can be imposed.
