Police have submitted the investigation report on the death of Inisha BK to the District Attorney's Office. The District Police Office, Surkhet, submitted the report on Wednesday after completing the investigation into the incident.
On February 23, 16-year-old Inisha BK of Birendranagar Municipality-1 was found dead. After the incident, the police took a 16-year-old teenager into custody and started an investigation. Police had also arrested three other people suspected of being involved in the incident and were investigating.
The victim's family has become suspicious after the police did not make the findings public. The family has claimed that the murder was committed after gang rape and has taken a stand that the body will not be accepted until action is taken against the culprits.
