As the formation of a new government begins after the election to the House of Representatives on 21 Falgun, Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Anil Kumar Sinha has left the ministry today.

Sinha, who went to the ministry on Wednesday, was bid farewell by the secretariat staff. Sinha spent 6 months and 6 days in the government.

Sinha's personal secretary Ranchan Kumar Mishra said that Sinha has successfully completed his responsibilities and has left.

Sinha had also held the responsibility of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, the Ministry of Law and Parliamentary Affairs, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and most recently the Ministry of Energy.

Sinha, who is also a former Supreme Court judge, became a minister with the appointment of Prime Minister Sushila Karki on 27 Bhadra.

Sinha was initially given the responsibility of the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation. Later, after Kumar Ingham became the Minister of Lands, Sinha was given the additional responsibility of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.  

He had been holding the responsibility of four ministries in recent times.
