Senior economist Keshav Acharya has passed away. The 72-year-old Acharya passed away at 9:55 am on Monday.
He was admitted to Medicare Hospital in Chabahil on Monday morning after he developed health problems. He was then taken to Annapurna Neuro Hospital in Maitighar for further treatment.
Acharya worked at Nepal Rastra Bank for more than three decades and also at the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
