One person has died after a brick kiln wall collapsed in Harisiddhi, Lalitpur. Four people were injured in the incident, according to the District Police Range, Lalitpur.
The wall of the Hosna brick kiln collapsed around 10:10 am on Sunday.
Five workers were trapped when the wall collapsed, while one died during treatment, said SP Gautam Mishra, spokesperson for the complex.
Tilsari Khadka, 55, of Rukum, who worked at the brick kiln, died. According to the police, she died around 10:30 am during treatment at the Medicity Hospital, said SP Gautam.
Similarly, Janaki Chand, 27, of Rukum, Shanti Kunwar, 27, of Salyan, Nanda Kumari Magar, 46, of Rolpa, and Suma Kumal, 19, of Dang, were injured. Janaki Chand has been referred to Kathmandu Model Hospital for further treatment.
