The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that all Nepalis stranded in transit in the Gulf have been rescued. The 33 Nepalis remaining in Kuwait are also in the process of obtaining visas to Saudi Arabia and flying back, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated.

"No passengers have been stranded or stopped in transit through Qatar, Kuwait, UAE and Jeddah," Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lok Bahadur Poudel Chhetri said at a press conference organized at the ministry on Friday. "All Hajj passengers who were stopped in Jeddah have also returned to Nepal." According to Spokesperson Chhetri, the number of Nepalis filling out their details online as unsafe is decreasing. 82,000 Nepalis in the Gulf have filled out their details online. Of these, 6,000 had reported that they were unsafe.
