A Nepal Airlines Corporation aircraft, which was en route from Kathmandu to the Indian capital New Delhi, was diverted back to the apron from the runway at Tribhuvan International Airport on Friday.
According to information received from the airport, there were about 140 passengers on the flight and the scheduled departure time of the plane was set at 1:45 PM. However, the flight was delayed due to bad weather and the plane was only ready to take off at around 5 PM.
According to the Tribhuvan International Airport Office, the airline crew finally brought the plane back to the apron parking area, keeping aviation safety as a priority.
