Economist Keshav Acharya has been admitted to the hospital after developing health problems.
The 72-year-old was taken to Medicare Hospital in Chabahil after developing health problems on Tuesday morning. He was then taken to Annapurna Neuro Hospital in Thapathali for further treatment.
He is currently undergoing treatment, his family sources have informed.
Acharya had worked at Nepal Rastra Bank for more than three decades. He had also worked at the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
