Khandbari Municipality won a total of 33 gold, 17 silver and 4 bronze medals throughout the competition and secured the first place. Khandbari easily won the shield after its players performed well in various categories.

Sabhapokhari Rural Municipality, also in the host region, came in second place in the competition. Players from Sabhapokhari also presented competitive games and won 19 gold, 19 silver and 13 bronze medals. Although they fell behind in the gold medal count, Sabhapokhari presented a tough challenge in most of the games.

Similarly, Dharmadevi Municipality was limited to third place. Dharmadevi secured the third place overall by winning 3 gold, 6 silver and 3 bronze medals in the competition. Players from other local levels also participated enthusiastically.

Players from 10 local levels of Sankhuwasabha participated in this prestigious district-level competition. Student players competed in various games including athletics, volleyball, kabaddi. The organizers have stated that the competition provided an important opportunity for talented school-level athletes in the district to showcase their abilities. The participants of the competition, Silichong Rural Municipality and Bhotkhola Rural Municipality, were left without gold medals. Although the athletes from those local levels tried hard in some categories, they could not win gold medals. The competition was organized by the District Sports Development Committee Sankhuwasabha. According to the organizers, the competition has played an important role in developing sports in the district, instilling discipline and a competitive spirit among students. Medals and certificates were awarded to the outstanding athletes. It is believed that competitions like the President's Running Shield will pave the way for talented athletes from rural areas to reach the national level.
