Students of Usha Balwatika School in Birendranagar have staged a protest demanding justice for 16-year-old Inisha BK, a student of the same school.
In a rally that started from the school premises on Friday morning, students demonstrated with placards reading 'Justice for Inisha' and 'Strict action against the murderer'. They staged a protest at the gate of the District Police Office, Surkhet, demanding a fair investigation into the incident and strict action against the culprits as per the law.
The students said that Inisha's death is suspicious and the concerned state bodies should be serious in making the truth of the incident public and providing justice to the victim's family. During the protest, the students staged a sit-in in front of the school for some time.
They have demanded that whoever is involved in the incident be brought to justice and strict action be taken. After the death of Inisha BK, who was found in the Janajagaran Community Forest Area in Birendranagar, voices are being raised across Karnali Province, including Surkhet, demanding justice.
