The Supreme Court has issued an interim order in the name of the Credit Information Center not to blacklist Kishori Sah's name.

Sah, who became a candidate for the House of Representatives from the National Independent Party from Dhanusha 1, had her candidacy rejected because the Credit Information Center had blacklisted her name. A single bench of Supreme Court Justice Sharanga Subedi issued an interim order to remove her name from the blacklist in a writ filed by Sah.

The Election Commission had rejected Sah's candidacy on the grounds that she was on the blacklist of the Credit Information Center, and filed a petition making the Credit Information Center the defendant. With the Supreme Court's interim order to remove her from the blacklist, the way has been opened for Sah's candidacy to continue.

The Election Commission had decided to reject Sah's candidacy just two days before the election. His writ against this has been filed in the Supreme Court on Friday.

Earlier on Friday, a hearing will be held on the issue of declaring NCP's Matrika Prasad Yadav as the winner and issuing a certificate. If the joint bench decides to dismiss, Sah's votes will have to be counted again and declared the winner.
