The victim's family has protested in Surkhet, demanding an impartial investigation into the death of 16-year-old Inisha BK in the Janajagaran Community Forest in Birendranagar.
The victim's family and relatives have taken out a protest rally with slogans like 'Stop the rape, murder and violence against girls', 'Give justice to Inisha', and 'Take action against the murderer'.
On Saturday morning, February 23, Inisha, who had left her home saying 'it is experimental', was found unconscious in a forest near Shaheed Park in Birendranagar-4 at around 9 am. Anmol Gauli of Birendranagar-9, who was with her, was taken into custody by the police from the spot.
The relatives of the deceased have been demanding that the culprits be brought to justice and that justice be given to the victim's family, claiming that Inisha was raped and murdered. The District Police Office, Surkhet, has said that four more people, including Gauli, have been taken into custody and are investigating on suspicion of involvement in the incident. The police have said that a detailed investigation into the incident is underway.
