According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Weather Forecasting Division, it will be generally cloudy throughout the country this afternoon. There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall with thunder and lightning at a few places in the hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces, as well as in the hilly and mountainous areas of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and one or two places in the Terai area of Lumbini province.

Tonight, it will be generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous areas of the country including Gandaki and Lumbini provinces, while the rest of the area will be partially cloudy. The division has stated that there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall along with thunder and lightning in the hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces and one or two places in the Terai areas of Lumbini province.
