Inspector General of Armed Police Raju Aryal has said that although it was a test to ensure election security in a safe and fear-free environment, the responsibility was successfully fulfilled. Addressing the high-ranking officers deployed in election security and management at the Armed Police Headquarters on Monday, Inspector General Aryal expressed gratitude for their excellent responsibility in managing election security in a fear-free environment.
Inspector General Aryal thanked the department heads present at the headquarters, senior superintendents and superintendents deployed in election security monitoring, and the commanders of all provinces, office heads across the country, and employees at all levels for facing the challenge and conducting the election in a fear-free environment.
He said that the main reason behind the safe completion of the election was the strong discipline and honesty shown by the forces in election security management and the fact that the country must have the mindset and spirit to fulfill its responsibility without sacrificing its life at a time when it is in need. About 35,000 Armed Police personnel were deployed in the field for the 21 Falgun elections and the management before that. The armed forces were deployed as a second security perimeter in the election. ‘The House of Representatives elections held on 21 Falgun were like a litmus test for the security forces, but they were successfully completed. On this occasion, the organization has also highly evaluated the professional skills of the Armed Police personnel.’
In the process, Aryal also warned that employees of any rank in the organization should not do anything against the organization’s conduct and that any action against the organization while wearing the organization’s uniform would not be tolerated. He said that the role of the employees working in the organization will be significant in enhancing the neutral image of the organization.
