According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the actual status of the registered Nepalis has been identified. 'Based on the status posted online, we have identified which Nepalis are safe and which are unsafe. Those who have posted details as unsafe will be identified through the embassy,' Foreign Affairs Spokesperson Lok Bahadur Poudel Chhetri told Kantipur, 'If they are identified as extremely unsafe, the rescue process will be taken forward on a priority basis.'
He said that coordination will also be done with employers for Nepalis in distress. 'We have urged all Nepalis in the Gulf to fill out an online form to inform them about their status,' he said.
