According to the preliminary vote count in Pyuthan, the National Independent Party (RSP) has taken the lead. As of the completion of the vote count in six municipalities, RSP's Shusant Baidik has secured 13,731 votes, while Nepali Congress' Dr. Govinda Raj Pokharel has secured 11,493 votes.
Similarly, UML's Surya Bahadur Thapa Chhetri has secured 10,275 votes, Nepali Communist Party's Krishna Dhwaj Khadka has secured 4591 votes, and Rastriya Janamorcha's Tilak Bahadur GC has secured 2,852 votes.
