Deepak Kumar Sah, the candidate of the National Independent Party, has been elected in Sunsari Constituency No. 4 by securing 42,771 votes. CPN-UML candidate Kshitij Thebe has won from Taplejung for the House of Representatives. Thebe won by 2,251 votes, beating Nepali Congress' Gajendra Prasad Tumyahang. Thebe received 13,962 votes, while Tumyahang received 11,711 votes.
CPN's Khel Prasad Budhakhetri came third with 6,775 votes, while Shram Sanskriti Party's Santosh Rai came fourth with 5,209 votes, and Rastriya Swatantra Party's Birendra Shrestha came fifth with 4,155 votes. UML's Yogesh Bhattarai had previously won from Taplejung in 2074 and 2079.

In Kathmandu-7, RSP candidate Ganesh Parajuli is close to victory. Out of 34,962 votes, Parajuli got 23,313 votes while his rival UML candidate got 3,416 votes. Congress candidate Pramodahari Guragai got 3,333 votes and NCP candidate Basanta Prasad Manandhar got 2,908 votes.
In Lamjung, RSP candidate Dharmaraj KC has maintained his lead. By the time the counting of votes in Dudhpokhari Rural Municipality, Kwola Sothar Rural Municipality and Madhya Nepal Municipality-1 to 5 was completed, KC had received 5,067 votes. The counting of votes for the House of Representatives elections in Parbat is set to begin at 11 am on Friday. When 8,525 votes were counted, Ghanti candidate Bista got 5,226 votes. Nepali Congress candidate Himal Karki got 815 votes.
CPN-UML's Binod Shrestha got 594 votes. CPN's Rupa Maharjan got 156 votes.
The counting of votes has begun in Rukum East.
It is said that after the collection of ballot boxes from all polling stations was completed last night, the counting began after an all-party meeting was held in the morning and a decision was made.
Out of a total of 34,772 voters, 18,604, or about 51 percent, were cast in Rukum East.
In the initial vote count of Jhapa Constituency No. 5, senior leader of the National Independent Party, Balendra Shah, has taken a wide lead over UML's KP Sharma Oli.
