An old video has gone viral on social media, claiming that there was tension at a polling station in Solukhumbu. Some people, including a user named Bhimraj Budhathoki, have posted this video on social media, claiming that there was a scuffle in Solukhumbu.

The video also shows the army brandishing guns. However, according to Army Spokesperson Rajaram Basnet, the video that is now viral on social media is old. 'I also watched that video, the video from the old exercise was posted on social media,' he said, 'There has been no such problem in Solukhumbu so far.'

Koshi Province Police Chief DIG Binod Ghimire also said that the election is being held peacefully in Solukhumbu. 'So far, there has been no problem in the province,' he said.

Out of 1,907 polling stations across Koshi Province, 439 polling stations are on the highly sensitive list. There are 4,270 polling stations under these polling stations. DIG Ghimire said that the security classification has been done based on a review of past incidents, proximity to international borders, number of voters, intensity of political activities, geographical remoteness and analysis of potential risks.
