After voters in Beding boycotted the election, the polling team returned from the helicopter with empty ballot boxes.

Local voters in Gaurishankar Rural Municipality-9 of Dolakha have boycotted the election this time. Voters in Beding, a tourist village in the Rolwaling Valley known as the Himalayas, have said that they have boycotted the election.

A ballot box containing 5 proportional votes cast by 5 employees deployed for polling in Beding has been brought by helicopter.

Locals have said that they did not go to cast their votes because no candidate came to listen to the problems of Beding. There are 113 voters in Beding. None of the voters voted.

The employees, including the polling officer, waited for the voters until 5 pm. As the voters boycotted the election, no direct votes were cast in that booth, said Chief District Officer Hari Prasad Ghimire.

Five employees deployed for the election have voted in the proportional representation. The team of election employees returned from there with the same votes. According to Chief District Officer Ghimire, the ballot box of the center has been brought to the district headquarters by helicopter.
