Voting has been postponed after 55 ballot papers were lost from the Malu polling station in Tamakoshi Rural Municipality of Dalekha. Some people snatched the ballot paper cart from the employee. Assistant Chief District Officer Aulakh Bahadur Ale said that a search is underway for the missing ballot papers. According to him, those who stole the ballot paper cart have been taken under control.

A scuffle broke out after the employee snatched the ballot paper. Police fired a round of air fire to control the situation. The voting, which was stopped due to increased tension, has not yet begun.

The voting could not take place due to the failure to reach an all-party consensus. Security personnel have been deployed in large numbers in the area, including the polling station. Voters are shouting slogans outside the polling station demanding to be allowed to cast their votes. Some voters have started returning home.

Assistant Chief District Officer Ale said that discussions are underway and a consensus has been reached and that voting will resume after some time.
