All nine private helicopter companies are preparing their helicopters for the House of Representatives elections.
According to the Airline Operators Association Nepal, helicopters will be ready for essential tasks such as election-related flights, charter services and rescue. Association President Pratap Jung Pandey informed that private helicopters affiliated with the association will provide services as needed on election days.
Meanwhile, there is little activity on regular domestic flights. Buddha Air has informed the Domestic Terminal Office at Tribhuvan International Airport that it will operate one flight to Biratnagar on Thursday.
