Two Nepalis working in Iran arrived in Dubai via Azerbaijan on Wednesday. Bishnu Prasad Bhusal and Raju Khanal from Akhangachi have arrived in Dubai. Six Nepalis are still in Iran.
‘We had taken a car from Iran on Saturday morning. We reached Azerbaijan on Sunday evening,’ Bhusal told Kantipur. ‘After staying there for two days, we arrived in Dubai on Wednesday.’
The Azerbaijani embassy booked a flight for them to Dubai. ‘We are waiting for the flight in Dubai. We will come to Nepal once the flight starts,’ he said. ‘We are safe.’ Both of them worked at the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran.’
