Some parts of the country will see partly cloudy weather today and there is a possibility of rain and snowfall in limited places.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, fog is expected in some places in the Terai region this morning. It will be partly cloudy in the mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, while it is expected to be partly cloudy in the remaining mountainous areas, including the hilly areas of these provinces. The weather will be mainly clear in other areas.

According to the department, there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall with thunder and lightning in the hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi province and in one or two places in the mountainous areas of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.

Fog is expected in some places in the Terai region tonight as well. It will be partly cloudy in the hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces, while the weather is expected to be mostly clear in the remaining areas. The department has stated that light rain or snowfall is possible in one or two places in the hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi Province and the mountainous areas of Gandaki Province, even during the night.
