The Nepali Embassy has urged Nepalis working in Qatar to remain safe by following the instructions of local security agencies.

The embassy issued a travel advisory on Saturday, requesting them to strictly follow the security precautions and instructions issued by Qatari authorities. 

‘Stay away from crowded places, gatherings and demonstrations as much as possible,  Do not believe in rumors and rumours spread by unknown people or unverified sources,’ the special notice said, ‘Do not share unverified information, news or video clips on social media, and follow official announcements and emergency alert notifications regularly.’

The embassy has also requested that if assistance is required in an emergency, contact the Nepali Embassy, ​​Doha.
