Hari Dhakal, the candidate for Chitwan-1 from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has said that this election is just an election and a referendum. Addressing an election rally held in Chitwan today, he said that he has taken this election as a referendum to uproot the status quo of 35 years.
He said, "We are confident that the election will abolish the system that has prevented the parliament from becoming a creative place for these 35 years. We are confident that the next parliament will now make all the pending laws." He also said that the RSSP will bring smiles to the faces of farmers in the next 5 years. He said, "The faces of farmers did not smile just by building a view tower and a welcome gate. In the next 5 years, we will bring smiles. Similarly, we will make the country's athletes financially prosperous. We have come to do more than just nothing. We are confident that you will deliver the number we have promised."
