Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has said that the House of Representatives elections to be held on Falgun 21 will be held in a clean, impartial and fear-free environment.

During an on-site inspection and monitoring of the Baiteshwor Rural Municipality polling station in Dolakha on Friday, Minister Aryal directed the government to rectify the shortcomings in the past and create an environment for this election to be held in a clean, impartial, rigged and peaceful manner.

Home Minister Aryal requested all parties concerned to be aware of the false, false and misinformation being spread on social media and to prepare for their respective constituencies.

On Friday morning, a team including Home Minister Aryal and Acting Chief Election Commissioner Ram Prasad Bhandari monitored the polling station in the rural municipality and interacted with local stakeholders about election security. The monitoring team included Inspector General of Armed Police Raju Aryal, Nepal Army Lieutenant Colonel Pradip Jung KC, AIG Ganesh Thada Magar, Ministry of Home Affairs Spokesperson Ananda Kafle, Joint Spokesperson Rama Acharya, DIG Bishnu Bhatta, Chief Election Officer Ram Prasad Neupane, Dolakha Chief District Officer Hari Prasad Ghimire, Baideshwor Rural Municipality Chairperson Chhabi Lama, and ward member Sombar Bahadur Tamang.

According to Joint Spokesperson Acharya, who participated in the monitoring, information was provided about the 2079 local elections and the House of Representatives elections in the discussion, as well as information about the election security plan of the House of Representatives. 

On the occasion, Acting Chief Election Commissioner Bhandari emphasized that all stakeholders should actively participate in conducting the elections in a fair and fear-free environment.

Baideshwor Rural Municipality has 8 polling stations, 21 polling stations, and 18,422 voters.
