Out of the 3,406 direct candidates who registered their candidacies in the House of Representatives elections to be held on Falgun 21, only 1,670 have opened bank accounts. The Election Commission has stated that only 11 of the 65 parties that participated in the elections have opened accounts. The parties that have opened accounts include the Nepali Congress, Rastriya Janamorcha, CPN-United, CPN-N, Nepali Party for Nepal, Janata Samajwadi Party, Samyukta Nagarik Party, Miteri Party, Nepal Janata Sancharak Party, Nepal Mazdoor Kisan Party and Rastriya Janamukti Party, informed the Commission's Assistant Spokesperson Sita Pun Sris.
