Representatives of the Gen-G People's Movement have demanded that the report of the Gauri Bahadur Karki-led inquiry commission be made public by the deadline of Falgun 22 and implemented.

They issued a statement on Tuesday, expressing serious concern over the extension of the commission's term and warning that they would be forced to take to the streets again if the report is delayed.

As the country enters the phase of elections to the House of Representatives from a transitional period, Gen-G has expressed confidence that the interim cabinet led by former Chief Justice Sushila Karki will conduct peaceful, fair and credible elections.

However, since the commission's term has been extended to Falgun 22 after the elections, there is growing concern that the report will not be made public.

'The first demand of the Gen-G People's Movement is justice,' the statement said, 'Our voice will not be silenced until justice is ensured.'
