On Monday morning, 19 people were killed when a passenger bus (Ga 2 Kha 1421) coming from Pokhara to Kathmandu crashed.
The task force formed by the government to study the accident that occurred on Monday at China Dhara, Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality-5, Dhading under the Prithvi Highway, observed the scene and discussed with stakeholders on Wednesday.
The task force, coordinated by Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs Rishiram Tiwari, studied the scene today and discussed with locals, security personnel, local public representatives, and stakeholders who participated in the rescue after the accident.
Most of the speakers in the discussion held by the task force emphasized the lack of rescue equipment.
The task force, which was formed to submit a report within 7 days, has started working to submit a detailed study of the incident and submit a report so that it can be implemented, said task force coordinator Rishiram Tiwari.
