The government is set to form a Gen-G Council. The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting held at Singha Durbar on Tuesday.

The current government, formed on the strength of the Gen-G movement, has been criticized for not being able to take concrete decisions to address their demands. 

Similarly, the government has also decided to give the responsibility of prosecuting and settling cases related to offenses under Section 140 of the Insurance Act, 2079 BS to the district court, said Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal, who is also the government spokesperson.
