As the winter season is about to end, the mountainous district of Solukhumbu has received its first snowfall this year. The weather has changed since Tuesday afternoon, and the highlands of Solu have received snowfall.
The upper Khumbu region and the highlands of Lower Solu have been blanketed in snow. The snowfall, accompanied by sporadic rain, has increased the cold. Due to the snowfall, thick snow has accumulated on the Khumjung, Namche, Pike and Patale hills. Prakash Magar of Patale said that farmers are happy after the snowfall. District Police Chief DSP Manojit Kunwar said that despite the snowfall, life in the Khumbu region is normal.
