A bench of Justices Nahakul Subedi and Meghraj Pokharel has ordered the filing of the original file of the letter sent by the Election Commission to the District Police Range, Kathmandu, on February 19.
'This order has been issued in the habeas corpus petition filed by Uma Prasai in the case of Prasai.
'The original file with the decision to investigate and send a letter to take action should be filed through the Attorney General's Office,' the order states.
The Supreme Court has ordered another hearing for Tuesday.
Prasai has been arrested and released at various times. The last time he was arrested by the police was last Monday night for investigation into his statements.
