Prime Minister Sushila Karki has reached Mustang to understand the election atmosphere in the Himalayan district.
She arrived there by helicopter on Friday morning and will observe the Himalayan settlements. She will also interact with local and government officials.
Prime Minister Karki also visited the Muktinath temple on the same occasion, her secretariat said.
The Prime Minister is accompanied by Chief Personal Secretary Adarsh Kumar Shrestha and Press Advisor Ram Bahadur Rawal.
Karki had earlier also visited another Himalayan district, Solukhumbu, to get information about the election situation to be held on Falgun 21.
