The situation in Banepa has become tense after a scooter driver died after being hit by a tipper.
A 30-year-old man died on the spot when a tipper truck bearing the number 01-004 Ka 3423 of Bagmati Province hit a scooter at Banepa Telecom Chowk on Wednesday morning, police said.
His identity has not been revealed. The body of the deceased has been kept at the Sheer Memorial Hospital in Banepa.
