Police have launched an investigation after a video of a car driver hitting a pedestrian in Kathmandu went viral on social media.
An investigation has been launched into the video of a pedestrian being punched for speaking inappropriately, said SSP Ramesh Thapa, chief of the District Police Range, Kathmandu. 'Concern has been expressed from all sides about this, the police have already started investigating the incident,' he said.
According to Kathmandu Police officials, a search is underway for the person involved through technical analysis as a Sajha Yatayat bus was also seen nearby.
