Speaking at the fourth session of the second day of the 'Kantipur Conclave-2026', 'New Voices of the Republic' session, young candidate Ajay Kushwaha said that top leaders including Nepali Communist Party Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal are preparing to take a break after teaching him politics.

‘Our leaders, including the coordinator, are taking a break while teaching the youth how to run the country. Perhaps some leaders, including the coordinator, will not contest the next election,’ he said. ‘They are thinking of taking a break after arranging everything and handing over the responsibility to the new generation.’

He also said that it is good for all parties to bring forward the new generation in the current election and that there is evidence that the party has listened to the new generation.

He also said that it was wrong for people in the interim government to resign and contest the election.
