According to the 'Nepal Multi-Indicator Survey 2081/82' released by the National Statistics Office on Monday, 81.6 percent of women in the age group of 15-49 have their own mobile phone. Similarly, 90.4 percent of men in the same age group have their own mobile phone.
Similarly, the data shows that 96.7 percent of households have access to a continuous source of electricity service. Provincially, the highest number is in Gandaki Province (99.5 percent) and the lowest is in Karnali Province (80.8 percent).
In Nepal, 95.5 percent of households have access to telephone (landline telephone or mobile phone) facilities, while provincially, the highest number is in Bagmati Province (97.1 percent) and the lowest is in Sudurpaschim Province (92.6 percent).
