A total of 98.2 percent of Nepal's population uses improved water sources for drinking water, according to a data released by the National Statistics Office on Monday. According to the Nepal Multi-Indicator Survey 2081/82, E. coli bacteria was found in the drinking water of 60.4 percent of household members when testing the quality of water.
