The Election Commission has stated that the weather will not affect the House of Representatives elections to be held on 21 Falgun. According to the Commission's spokesperson Narayan Prasad Bhattarai, the weather forecast provided by the Meteorological Department indicates that the Himalayan region will remain dry on 20, 21 and 22 Falgun. He said that there is no possibility of rain during that period.

He mentioned that the department submitted the report to the commission on Friday based on a study of the weather over the past 30 years.

The commission had sought information on the weather study from Falgun 10 to 30. Spokesperson Bhattarai said that the department had informed that there was no rain during that period based on the data of the past 30 years and the weather was generally dry.

He clarified that according to the weather report received on Friday, there was no problem in the election due to the weather. However, the commission stated that if there is an unexpected change in the weather, information will be received from the concerned body.
